Mataano, means "twins" in Somali, is a brand created by Somalian twin sisters Idyl & Ayaan Mohamill...
"In 2008, the Mohallim sisters took their first step together, launching a new brand, Mataano (meaning “twins” in Somali) and furnishing a platform to express their vision and bring forth their creations to the marketplace..." - Mataano We don't hear about fashion week in Africa too often, so this is why I decided to shed a little bit of light on African designers such as the Mohallim sisters and David Tlale.
