Designer of the Week: Manuel “Manolo” Blahnik Rodríguez

Manuel "Manolo" Blahnik Rodriguez is the mastermind behind the shoe label 'Manolo Blahnik'. He began his career in fashion by becoming a writer for Vogue Italia in 1968, then soon went on to design his own stiletto in the early 1970's.

Since then, he has expanded his empire all over the world. According to his Wikipedia, Blahnik has boutiques in New York, Las Vegas, Madrid, Dublin, Athens, Dubai, Instanbul, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Seoul and Singapore.
